IMPORTANT TIMES FOR THE CHICAGO BEARS VS. DETROIT LIONS GAME ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2010

  • Soldier Field parking lots open: 8:00 a.m.
  • Will call opens: 9:30 a.m.
  • Day of Game Ticket Sales: 10:00 a.m. (Gate 2)
  • Stadium gates open: 10:00 a.m.
  • Bears vs. Lions kickoff: 12:00 p.m.
  • Alcohol sales end (general seating): end of 3rd quarter
  • Alcohol sales end (United Club): 4:00 p.m.
  • United Club closes: 5:00 p.m.
  • Parking lots close: 6:00 p.m.
  • All times are subject to change at the discretion of management.

PROHIBITED ITEMS AND BAG ACCEPTANCE GUIDELINES
For the comfort and safety of all guests, certain items are not permitted to be brought into Soldier Field. Full list of prohibited items.

2010 GAMEDAY BAG GUIDELINES
Based on NFL security best practice recommendations, backpacks, purses, bags, cases or fanny packs larger than 12" x 12" x 12" will not be allowed into Soldier Field for Chicago Bears games. All bags are subject to inspection and tagging if necessary. All bags permitted into Soldier Field for Bears games must fit into the 12" x 12" x 12" template box at the gates. Items allowed after inspection include: diaper bags and medical bags (with related items), clear zip-lock bags or small, insulated pouches for personal food, clear Bears Pro Shop bags with merchandise from stadium stores and clear plastic bags with extra clothing. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. The Bears and Soldier Field management cannot safeguard items which are not permitted to be brought into the stadium.

GAMEDAY GIVEAWAY
The Detroit Lions game is brought to you by U.S. Cellular. The first 40,000 fans entering Soldier Field will receive a Bears/U.S. Cellular Car Flag. FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
The comfort and enjoyment of our fans' in-stadium experience is of primary importance to us, so we ask you to Help Stop UnBEARable Behavior at Soldier Field. If you notice someone violating the Fan Code of Conduct, please anonymously contact our Gameday Security by CALLING 312-235-7999 or TEXT the keyword BEARS, followed by a space, and the issue and location to 69050. Security will be dispatched to address the situation.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Due to the ongoing road contruction on the I-290/Eisenhower Expressway/Congress Blvd we suggest you allow for longer travel times to Soldier Field. Alternative routes include Roosevelt Road or I-55/Stevenson Expressway to Lake Shore Drive. Visit www.wackerdrive.org for additional information.

TAILGATING AT SOLDIER FIELD
Tailgating is permitted on all surface lots and the upper level of the Waldron Deck. Taking open alcohol containers outside of the parking lots, remaining in the parking lots to tailgate during the game, tailgating after night games or consuming alcohol in the Family Friendly lots is prohibited.

DON'T MISS ANY OF THE ACTION...ARRIVE EARLY! 

  • 60% of Bears fans enter the stadium in the 30 minutes prior to kickoff
  • 55% enter through the South and North Gates
  • 15% enter through the West Gates

To avoid missing any of the action, fans are strongly encouraged to enter the stadium at least 45 minutes prior to kickoff, and use the West Gates (9, 19, 31) or Northeast Gate 38. All gates are ADA compliant and open 2 hours prior to kickoff.
